The Oregon Teachers Standard Practice Commission (TSPC), created the Oregon Educator Licensure Assessment to ensure a high quality educational system with high-quality teachers.  This program ensures every educator is assessed by the same set of standards for licensure.

The basic programs in ORELA includes ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages), Civil Rights and Equity in the Educational Environment and the Multiple subjects Examination. Applicants may register online, by mail or by telephone.  Late and emergency registrations are possible with additional fees and penalties.
