Registration for the CEOE exams can be done via mail, internet and telephone.

To register via mail, candidates first need to print the registration forms. Completed forms should be mailed along with necessary documents and payment to

Eligibility
The Oklahoma State Department of Education sets certification standards and requirements

Fees
The registration fee for the CEOE Oklahoma General Education exam (OGET) is $75

The registration fee for the Oklahoma Professional Teaching Examination (OPTE) is $150

The registration fee for the Oklahoma Subject Area Tests (OSAT) is $90 per test

Format
The CEOE is made up of three sections; the Oklahoma General Education Test (OGET), Oklahoma Professional Teaching Examination (OPTE), and Oklahoma Subject Area Tests (OSAT)The Oklahoma General Education Test (OGET) is made up of 1 writing assignment and 100 selected-response questionsThe Oklahoma Professional Teaching Examination (OPTE) is made up of 75 selected response questions plus a constructed-response section, made up of 3 written assignmentsEach of the Oklahoma Subject Area Tests (OSAT) are made up of 1 constructed-response assignment and 80 selected-response questions. 4 of the OSAT subject exams however are exceptions, and they are listed belowThe OSAT Elementary Education test made up of 2 subtests. Subtest 1 consists of 1 constructed-response assignment and 55 selected-response questions. Subtests 2 have only 55 selected-response questions

The OSAT Latin and Spanish exams are each made up of 2 constructed-response assignments and 65 selected-response questions. The OSAT French, Russian, Chinese (Mandarin) and German tests each include approximately 4 constructed-response assignments and 35 selected-response questions

The OSAT Cherokee language test has 8 constructed-response assignments

The OSAT tests for Blind/Visual Impairment, Agricultural Education, Marketing Education, Speech-Language Pathologist and Psychometrist is made up of 100 selected-response questions and no constructed-response assignments

Other Information

The CEOE exam results are scored using a range within 100 and 300. The minimum required passing score is 240
